Hardware Revision Number

The Hardware Revision (HWR) defines the development status of the servo amplifier. With this code you see the relationship between product, instruction manual, firmware and Setup Software.
You find the Hardware Revision

  • on the name plate of the servo amplifier (example below: S700)
  • on the cover page of the instruction manual
  • on page 2 of the instruction manual with additional information

Introduction

  • All servo amplifiers of the AKD series have the hardware revision code since November 2009.
  • All servo amplifiers of the S300, S400, S600 and S700 series have the hardware revision code since April 2006.

Code Format

Device Code Remarks
AKD X X defines the product version.
AKD PDMM XY X defines the AKD version.
Y defines the PDMM version.
AKD BASIC I/O XY X defines the AKD version.
Y defines the I/O board version.
S300, S400, S600, S700 xy.ab xy defines housing (dimensions, mounting, mechanics)
 
ab defines set of printed circuit boards (connectors, firmware compatibility, GUI compatibility, connector printing, command set)
