AKD X11 Service Port Ethernet Specification

The AKD's X11 Service Port is a standard 10/100 Base Ethernet port. AKD will auto-negotiate the bit rate and supports full-duplex mode only. Unplugging and reconnecting the cable signals the drive to auto-negotiate again (so at that point the bit rate may change, IP address is updated if on DNS, etc.) Keep in mind the speed of the processor does not compute at this rate. The data packages are sent at the 100 Mbit rate, but the processor has to interpret the data. Thus fieldbuses that use this port, such as Modbus TCP or Ethernet IP, have an update rate limitation of 20ms for reliability.
