Feedback Cables
General
Technical data of feedback cables depend on the used cable material. US cables have different data from EU cables.
Differences are especially:
- Temperature range
- Cable diameter
- Bending radius
- Insulation material
It is strongly recommended to use cables configured by Kollmorgen to avoided bad contacting, wrong pinout and EMC problems.
Part Number Scheme
Since 2012 the part number scheme helps with identifying the European cables.
Order codes for cables defined prior to 2012 and information for configuring cables can be found in the Accessories Manual.
Configured Feedback Cables
Kollmorgen delivers mating connectors as well as configured cables in various lengths with mounted mating connectors.
Different feedback systems (see MultiFeedback) require different cable versions.
