DESINA Color Code
DESINA is an abbreviation for DistributEd and Standardised INstAllation technology for machine tools and manufacturing systems. DESINA is a specification for standardizing electric, hydraulic and pneumatic components and their interconnection on one common platform for CNC controlled machine tools and manufacturing systems.
Due to publishing parts 1 and 2 of ISO 23570 by ISO, the DESINA installation technology is recognized as an international standard since November 2005.
The following line colors define function codes:
Orange, RAL 2003: servo applications, shielded
Green, RAL 6018: measuring systems, shielded
Violet, RAL 4001: field bus, shielded
Yellow, RAL 1021: sensor/actuator, not shielded
Black, RAL 9005: output, not shielded
Grey, RAL 7040: 24 V control cable, not shielded
