KAS and Beckhoff stepper motor terminal EL7047

A few simple steps to work the Beckhoff terminal EL7047 with KAS

  1. Import the ESI more updated file into KAS (typically Beckhoff EL7xxx.xml file).
  2. Add the device EL7047.
    KAS will advise that this s is not supported. Disregard the warning.
  3. Make a scan, KAS will discover the terminal and set up PDO input/output entries.
  4. When EtherCAT starts you will receive an error for SDO operation timeout. EtherCAT will stop. This is due to the CoE-Init commands and in the case to 0xF081 writing.
  5. Remove the writing from the list and EtherCAT will work.
