F401 Failed to set feedback type fault

So here's my story. Boss decided I'm going to start programming our custom built machines. He said," Theres a computer over there, go use it."

We use TRIO with Motion Perfect v4, Proface HMIs with GP-PRO EX, Kollmorgen drives and servos (at least sometimes). So I've got everything wired up and the drive (AKD-P) is giving me fault F401 no matter what I do. Our servo is a Kollmorgen AKM 52L. The drive and servo are connected via a Kollmorgen Hybrid Cable AKD.

I'm using a Trio p600 NANO plc. I have a Keyence sensor hooked up to my HMI and everything is working fine there. I built this project just so I can start manipulating the servos and sensors etc... to practice on.

I have 110vAC wired into the MAINS POWER L1 and L2. 24vDC into the power, gnd, STO inputs at the top of the drive. The servo cable connected into X2 (Motor and Holding brake) along with the serial connector into X10 (Feedback). PC is connect to X11 via ethernet cable. Trio NANO connected to Motion Bus in port.

I found a manual that showed I need to have 24vDC wired into X8 I/O. I have tried with and without those connections and I can't figure out how to get this fault to go away so I can start spinning this servo. What am I missing?
